Propagation
To propagate, take a cutting from the main plant and remove the bottom leaves. Place the cutting into the substrate without crushing the stem. The cutting will soon grow roots and develop into a new plant. This method is very easy, which contributes to its success as an invasive species. In an aquarium, it won't spread unless you intentionally plant the cuttings.

Short Description
This plant is very easy to care for and can also be used as a floating plant to create shaded areas. When planted, the stems can grow up to 3 meters (~9.84 feet) long, reaching the water's surface. Since it is an invasive plant, it’s important to dispose of any unwanted parts properly. Bag them up and throw them in the trash - never discard them into waterways.
Healthy plants have rich green leaves that swirl along the stem. These leaves feel crunchy but don’t offer nutritional value to fish. Instead, they provide a habitat for insects and small crustaceans. Some people use this plant in outdoor ponds, but it needs regular trimming.
If the stems grow above the water, they may produce small white flowers. However, using cross-pollination for propagation is not practical or successful.
